Thank You, Kirk Douglas
In this episode of Unsung Heroes I celebrate the contributions to film history of one Mr. Kirk Douglas. How, you may rightly ask, could Kirk Douglas, one of the most celebrated stars in history, possibly qualify as unsung? It is because this post focuses on his role as a producer not as a performer, specifically his role in getting anti-war masterpiece Paths of Glory made and consequently playing a large role in launching the career of a director by the name of Kubrick. Check it out here.
